When senior Shih Tzu Sadie's snores hit the decibel level of a rock concert, even the TV can't compete! Turn up the volume and witness the epic snoring of Sadie as foster sister Roxy tries to watch TV.

Big thanks to all the amazing souls who chipped in for Sadie's dental and mass removal. She's on the mend with Roxy as her snuggle buddy. Both are ready to hit the snooze buttons in their forever homes.

Roxy Hears Bang Bang and Plays Dead
Papaya [gray pitty left] and her new foster brother Harold [black dog right] are quite the odd couple. While Papaya's enthusiasm for play might make some dogs consider retirement, it's all belly rubs and tail wags when she's with Harold.

Papaya's a real beauty who has got legs that could compete in the Olympics. She's like a scholar of the house rules: crate trained, check; loving walks, check; house trained, check; will sit for treats, double-check! She's so trainable; she might start training you. She spends her days politely sitting with her foster mom in her office, and at night, she will excitely zoom into her crate with tail wagging because she knows bed time comes with a treat or chewy. Papaya is a fantastic dog, but for now, it's best if she's your only pet, which does limit her adoption options. But that's ok because Papaya's first love is people - she loves every human she meets and she'll do just about anything to make you happy!

Then there's Harold [pronouced Hair-Wold]. Harold, our stubborn stocky boy, waddles to his own beat, and that beat is called 'what harold wants to do' a course in canine aloofness. It's almost like a case of 'opposites attract,' and let's just say it's a good thing he's so cute! With his short, stocky frame, keeping up with his girlfriend Papaya during yard sprints ...well he can't.

Harold's approach to leash walking is a whole new level of innovation – he prefers the 'pancake sploot,' a move he's sure will catch on any day now. Potty habits? Well, that's a bit of a puzzle for him. Yard time? Oh, he'd rather use it to sunbathe sploot than attend to "business". And the cat litter box? Harold seems to believe it's some kind of snack dispenser!

But, despite his quirks, he'll win you over with his endearing goofy underbite, rhaspy bark and his valiant attempts to crawl into your lap [he needs a boost!]. Harold needs an adopter with the patience of a saint and a commitment to training, so he can fully enjoy a lifetime of leisurely park walks and maybe a few less pancake moments.

Meet sweet Clementine, the Chihuahua pup with a heart of gold. 🐾

Clementine may be a bit on the shy side at first, but she's never been snappy. She's been with our rescue for a while now, and unfortunately, she often gets overlooked at adoption events and meet and greets due to her initial shyness.

However, once Clementine forms an attachment to you, she's all in! She'll show you a level of loyalty and affection that's truly heartwarming. With some training and patience, she's already blossoming and becoming less shy.

Clementine is quite the clever one; she's an expert at hitting the pee pads. And when it comes to playtime, she's all in! She absolutely adores cats and even loves to groom them. Her playful spirit shines when she's with her big foster brother Iggy and her new foster sister Sadie.

Let's find Clementine the forever home she deserves, where her loving heart can shine even brighter.

Roxy [black and white dog] is the perfect playmate even for kittens! Watch how she tosses toys back to little Pepe Le Paw, the black kitten. Both of these sweeties are looking for their forever homes.

Roxy is 1.5 years old and raised her babies and deserves a loving home. She is seriously a great dog with a gentle and friendly disposition and we aren't sure why she is being over looked. She is curretly in a foster home and would love to meet you!

Pepe Le Paw is 4 months old and would love another kitten to play with. He is currently at the PetSmart on Barbara Joradan Bvd [Mueller] with his siblings Etienne and Chantalle.

If you'd like to adopt Roxy, Pepe, or both, fill out our adoption application today!

Roxy befriends foster Kitten - both need a home!
When we received the plea for Sadie's rescue, we knew we couldn't turn our backs and intervened to keep her out of the shelter. Her owner, struck by illness, could no longer care for her beloved companion. Despite the deep affection her owner held, Sadie had not received routine veterinary care, leaving her with rotting teeth and gums that cause constant pain. At the age of 12, Sadie is also still unspayed, which contributed to the formation of a mammary mass, another medical issue that needs immediate attention. We urgently need your support to help her on this transformative journey and to shine a light on the importance of rescuing senior dogs like Sadie.

Senior dogs like Sadie hold a special place in our hearts. They have spent their lives offering love, loyalty, and companionship to their human families. Now, in their golden years, they deserve the same devotion in return. Shelters, with their loud noises and unfamiliar surroundings, can be incredibly stressful for seniors like Sadie.

Thanks to a New Hope foster, Sadie will start her journey of healing in the peace and comfort of a loving home and she will not step foot in a shelter.

Dexter, our lovable Pyrenees mix puppy, is still in search of his forever home. This heartwarming video features Dexter and his buddy Meeko, a kitten who we rescued from the same shelter. Despite their size difference, Meeko can't resist snuggling up with Dexter, a true testament to Dexter's gentle nature.

Dexter is eager to share his loving spirit with a family who will cherish him. He gets along famously with every dog, human, and kitten he meets. Could your home be the perfect match for Dexter's boundless love? #AdoptDexter #GentleGiant #UnconditionalLove
From Shelter to Snuggles: Meeko and Dexter's Touching Tale
These puppies are enjoying air conditioning, lots of good food, water and toys after being abandoned at a flea market to die.

In scorching 107-degree heat, one of our volunteers spotted a lone puppy at a flea market, confined in a dirty crate with no access to shade or water with a heartless "free" sign. The other vendors reported to her that the owner of the puppy had disappeared, abandoning this puppy and siblings the day prior. Covered in fleas and vomiting rocks and sticks because they were desperate for food, she found 3 more puppies cowering under a nearby trailer. Without hesitation, our volunteer stepped in, rescuing them from this deadly, heartless situation.
